For the last update of the year we're focusing on soul from the 60s & 70s with a bunch of well known and desired classics side by side with some top shelf rarities. Hip Hop & R&B!

Another week full of new arrivals, more than 350 new additions by the time we were done on Thursday, and a lot more being stocked up as this is being typed. 
Hip Hop & R&B for all ages, wallets and preferences, including old school classics, golden era sounds and new stuff too!

A little R&B/neo-soul like the oh so popular Mariah Carey and Mary J Blige, plus a nice copy of Erykah Badu's Baduizm, but the heavy load is on the hip hop.
Lots and lots of 12"s, plus much wanted LPs by Digable Planets (who just graced Stockholm on their reunion tour), Das EFX, Big L, People Under the Stairs and Little Brother, as well as Pharcyde, Lootpack and Del.

Disco, House & Electronic

Hello again,

Disco/house/electronic time at Record Mania headquarters today, with a smattering of classic disco & boogie 12"s and an unusually (for us) large amount of house and various electronic sounds.

Special mentions must go to gems as Kokomo "Use your imagination" (very tough on this promo only 12"), Jay Player's modern soul evergreen "Love is the answer" and Don Ray's epic "Standing in the rain", not forgetting Robert Owens's Chicago house monster "Bring down the walls" and more current (all is relative, it's only 20 years ago) releases from Glenn Underground.

Reggae & Afro

Our reggae and afro crates have been pretty empty lately but this week we're filling them up with over 200 new arrivals! Among them we're happy to offer a handful of rare Ehtio 45s complete with picture sleeves (Mahmoud Ahmed, Alemayehu Eshete, Alemayehu Borobor, Getachew Kassa) plus a bunch of Afro LPs.

In the reggae LP section we have Freddie McKay's lovely classic "Picture On The Wall", dub LPs from Revolutionaries and Observers, digi dub/modern roots from Alpha & Omega and Peter Broggs plus the very hot Eric Lou Root LP. Also a big bunch of 12"s ranging from UK digi dub from Aba-Shanti and Alpha & Omega to roots from Dennis Hamilton, Lopez Walker and Patrick Andy and finally in the 45 section we have Jennifer Lara's killer "Hand To Mouth", John Holt's classic "Ali Baba" plus some Prince Buster-stuff and a lot more!
