Weekly update 13/3 - Afro, Latin, Brazil & Reggae

The Swedish spring seems to be here, and what better way to celebrate than with the sunny vibes of this week's theme?
Since records from these four genres aren't the most frequently seen in Sweden, it might be a bit smaller in numbers than most of our weekly updates, but nevertheless includes some heat.
In the Latin department there's the Latin jazz of Milton Zapata, Mauricio Smith plus the Puerto Rican All-Stars Featuring Kako, and the funky drumming of the Moon People.
The Brazilian section gets support from plenty of bossa jazz, Jorge Ben's exellent, self-titled 1969 LP, Elis Regina in London and two very rare 7"s by Marcio Lott and Os Gatos / Carlinhos Do Cavaco.
A decent amount of Reggae 7"s, 12"s and LPs as well with Fred Locks - Love & Harmony and Keith Hudson's The Joint finishing up the bunch.
The probably most obscure gems are hiding in the Afro section though, with 5 7"s and 1 LP out of Sudan on the Munsphone label. Some with information only in Arabic, others by Hamad Elrebh, Mohamed Elamin and Abd El Azim Abdallah "Haraka".
The music on these are just great, and they probably won't show up any time soon again...
