Weekly Update 27/2 - Blue Note and 50s Jazz + Rock

Right in time for the best record fair of the year (Saturday 28/2, Solnahallen - more info: www.sunjay.se) we bring a quite substantial update of Blue Note & 50s Jazz, spiced up with Rock. The latter consists of everything from Swedish Prog, to classic US psych / rock and some surprising newer stuff from the 90s and 00s you might not have thought to see here!

In the Jazz section you'll find some really nice LPs like Duke Jordan's "Flight to Jordan", J.R Monterose's "BLP 1536" and Donald Byrd's "Fuego". The non-Blue Notes consist of great titles like "Out there" by Eric Dolphy and Sonny Rollins' "Saxophone colossus".

We've been graced with a bunch of fine Rock LPs to sell as well, and ranges from madness like Faust, to hot fuzz like Afreaka! and a personal favourite - "Thunder on a clear day" by Twentieth Century Zoo - back to mellow sounds from Rodriguez ("Cold fact"), Cumulus and Batteaux.
Don't miss several interesting Nordic and Scandinavian titles like Pelican and Trubrot from Iceland, and The Aller Vaerste from Norway.

And for a change of vintage, we actually have some newer Rock . How about the classic "Odelay" by Grammy winner Beck, a couple of White Stripes, British heroes Oasis and The Verve, sad man Nick Cave, the charming Phoenix, Sonic Youth, Radiohead and Swedish favourite Jose Gonzalez (don't miss his new LP, now in stock!).

Check the pictures below for examples of the rarer stuff or see all of this week's new arrivals in our New In Stock-section.
