Weekly update 17/1 - Vocal Jazz, Italian Jazz, Fusion and more..

This week comes with a mixed bag of tricks, but if you dig vocal jazz there's definitely more than usual for you. Classics by legendary ladies Helen Merrill, Monica Zetterlund and Karin Krog to mention a few of the records in the vocal section. A couple of uncommon records from Italy like Armando Trovaioli's The Beat Generation and Gil Cuppini's great What's New Vol 2, plus more great European records like Lars Werner Och Hans Vänner and the Stan Tracey Quartet's Jazz Suite (Inspired by Dylan Thomas Under Milk Wood) with the stunning "Starless & Bible black" that was on Gilles Peterson's second Impressed compilation.
Some other interesting titles are the dramatic library LP Moods for Drama (PLM04) by Paul Kass and Japanese fusion LP Nio & Pigeon by Toshiyuki Miyama & The New Herd.

Have a look at the photo collages below for a selection of some of the more interesting ones, and see all new records this week with our New In Stock-page.

And don't forget to check us out on the Record Mania Facebook-page.
